The Company

Griffin Transport is an Albury based, NHVAS accredited transport company. Providing cold storage facilities and interstate refrigerated transport services. Our fleet currently consists of 20 prime movers and 25 trailers.

The Role

The role would suit experienced MC and HC professional drivers with at least 3 years’ experience along the eastern sea board including Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. You must be a person who is customer focused, take care of company equipment, pride in personal appearance and have a “can do” attitude.

The Candidate

To be successful in obtaining this role you must have;

  • Proven work history
  • Licence print out, driving record
  • Undergo a pre-employment heavy vehicle driver medical assessment
  • Provide valid references
  • Familiar with Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane

The Company

Griffin Transport is an Albury based transportation company, providing cold storage facilities and interstate refrigerated transport services. Our fleet currently consists of 20 Prime Movers and 25 Trailers.

The Role

The role would suit an experienced Diesel Fitter/ Heavy Vehicle Mechanic who has experience with American drive line trucks as well as refrigerated trailers. You will be responsible for the servicing and maintenance of the fleet including, scheduled maintenance, repairs and preventative maintenance. You must be a person who is results driven, self managing with a “can do” attitude and have a high standard of work ethic. Reporting to the fleet manager, the role is workshop based as well as off site.  The company provides ongoing training and support. This is a full time role and you MUST be flexible to work Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Between the hours of 8am to 5pm, as required.

The Candidate

To be successful in obtaining this role you must have:

  • Diesel Fitter/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic  experience;
  • Proven work history within the Heavy Vehicle repair industry;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Proven organisation skills;
  • The ability to work unsupervised; and
  • Ideally, fleet maintenance/servicing experience with American drive line trucks.
